My father was a Christian; took ill and was admitted and later died in the Hospital. I was introduced to Stephen Centre International by one of our Uncles at Rahama Baptist Church Kaduna.

 

Name : Joseph Tabat
Age: 13 years
Class: JSS 1.
State of Origin: Kaduna

My father was a farmer. He was killed by the rioters while he was coming from his farm during the first Kaduna riot in 2000. Thank God for Voice of the Christian Martyrs Nigeria that brought me to Stephen Centre International and for giving me free education and for taking good care of me.

My father was a Pastor at Baptist Church Kaduna. He was burnt to death by the rioters during the Kaduna riot. I appreciate the effort of the Voice of the Christian Martyrs that brought me to Stephen Centre International to educate and care for me.

I was brought to Stephen Centre Int’l Abeokuta by Voice of the Christain Martyrs Nigeria. My father was a pastor in Alheri Baptist Church in the Army Barrack . He was a soldier in the Nigeria Army, he was killed when he was coming from work during the kaduna 2002 riot. l appreciate the effort of Voice of the Christian Martyrs Nigeria that brought me to Stephen Centre Int’l Abeokuta to educate and care for me.

State of Origin: Kaduna (Gbagyi Local Govt.).

My father and grandmother were walking along the road side during Kaduna 2000 riot, when the rioters bounced on my grandmother and cut her head. My father tried to carry her corpse away when they also bounced on him and killed him. My mother heard of the killing and wanted to rescue my father, she started crying when she saw his remains. My mother brought me to Stephen Centre International at Abeokuta.

My Father was a bricklayer by profession and lived in Jos South Local Government Plateau State. He went to the town for his normal work when the rioters just surrounded him and shot him dead. And he was the first to be killed in our Local Government area. I never knew I will have hope for a better future, but thank God who holds my future and He passed through Christian Association of Nigeria (C. A. N) Plateau State to introduce me to Voice of the Christian Martyrs Nigeria for free education at Stephen Centre International in Abeokuta, Ogun State. May the Lord continue to bless the Organisation.

The Lord is good to those who put their trust in Him. My father died as a result of sickness and not up to six month my mother also died. My Uncle (Mr. Davou Choji) took care of me since the death of my parents. Not quite long, the rioters attacked my Uncle on his way home from his journey. He met the rioters and they cut him to pieces. God is worthy to be praised and I give Him thanks for passing through Christian Association of Nigeria (C.A.N) Plateau State to introduce me to Voice of the Christian Martyrs Nigeria for free education. May our Lord, the Saviour continue to bestow His favour on the Organisation.

We live in Pryom Local Government area of Plateau State, Jos. My father was a devoted and committed Christian and his life is worthy of emulation. It was around 5.30 am when the rioters rang a Church bell that was hanging on the outside. It is the custom of the villagers to meet in one place every morning for prayers. Suddenly, the rioters surrounded the Church and village and started killing people. My father was one of the victims. Thank God for Christian Association of Nigeria (C. A. N) Chairman who introduced me to Voice of the Christian Martyrs Nigeria for free education and care.
