My father was an Igbo man but lived in Kaduna for many years. I was born in Kaduna too. My father was an Apostle in the Cherubim and Seraphin Church in Kaduna. During the riot, we were all praying but he decided to go out. He was arrested by the police along with the rioters. He was killed in the cell. His body was released to the family for burial and he was buried in front of our house in the village. I appreciate Voice of the Christian Martyrs Nigeria who make it possible for me to learn free of charge at Stephen Centre Int値 Abeokuta.

My father was coming from his work along with his friends. When they saw the rioters, they started running but they caught up with my father and poured petrol on his chest. He started running towards the hospital, when he was about to enter the hospital they caught up with him again. They cut him on his head. Blood started gushing out and they poured petrol on him again, then the police came and rushed him to the hospital and he died the third day. My mother introduced me to Voice of the Christian Martyrs Nigeria and they brought me to Stephen Centre Int値 Abeokuta. Here I am having free education and being taking good care of. I am saying big thank you.
